Sixers veteran Tobias Harris announces his engagement on Instagram

In a time when life seems so bleak and everything that could possibly go wrong has decided to go wrong, it feels good to see something wholesome in the world.

Philadelphia 76ers veteran forward Tobias Harris announced on Instagram that he proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes. Harris went all out. He took her to what looks like a field by a hill, and he had a heart made out of roses surrounded by candles all while proposing to her and then dinner by candlelight.

Everything Harris did looked like it was perfect and it made for a great, romantic night. It was another reminder of some good in a world that can really use some right now.

Now that Harris has this very important task crossed off his list, he can get ready for the 2020-21 season. Philadelphia will look to bounce back on the floor after a season where they did not live up to their expectations.
